A Bird as lively companion to humans, cats and dogs too
Yoyo is a Sun Conure, a colourful bird much like a parakeet, gifted to Janet Chin by her loving husband.
“I named her Yoyo as she nods her head so much when she was a chick”, shares Chin, Yoyo’s human mom.
Chin, an avid animal lover welcomes the little bird who was three weeks at the time into her rambunctious brood of five cats and a dog.

At 1 year and 9 months old, Yoyo is one loud bird. She develops a bold personality just like her bright feathers. According to Chin, Yoyo loves to boss all the cats at home by shouting their names whenever she feels that they are getting naughty.
Of all the cats at home, Yoyo is closest to Gigi from the start. The bond they shared seemed ominous as it turned out that Gigi was suffering from final stage kidney disease and was left with less than a month to live even before Yoyo’s arrival. Miraculously, their familial bond gifted Gigi some time and she passed on 1 year later.
Yoyo has blossomed into quite a charming personality, spreading love and joy at each flutter. Despite her small body, it’s clear that she leaves a big impression at home and outside.
