Samsung’s sustainable TV boxes can be recycled into a cat-house

Samsung’s 2020 ‘lifestyle TVs’ – the SeroFrame and Serif TV, comes in packaging which can be transformed into a cat house, a small coffee table or a magazine rack.

Usually electric companies use a thick corrugated cardboard box to protect the product inside while shipping. Since these boxes are difficult to be recycled, they often end up discarded in the landfills.

Its latest line of luxurious lifestyle TV packaging, have come with perforations to help homeowners cut and fold them into a cat house. The boxes are big enough to accommodate a small pet.

If you don’t have cat or a dog, the boxes can also be transformed into handy furniture such as a magazine rack and a small coffee table.

User-friendly, there are printed instructions for other furniture designs on the box accessible via QR code where you can build other things with the cardboard instead of throwing the boxes away.
